i don’t know if it is possible where you are or what your situation is but steel frame homes are alot cheaper than wood frame construction. plus you would never have to worry about termites and if ever a fire you’d still have your frame. there are several websites for steel homes that you can even put together yourself.
I don’t know all that much about india, but I built a strawbale house and it was cheap, easy, and cost very little to maintain. check out websites, all the info is there. http://www.balewatch.com/
